Abstract/Summary

An archaeological watching brief was carried out in September 2002 during the removal of debris from the upper floor of Kingsthorpe Hall, Northampton following a fire. Work was undertaken in order to prevent the loss of salvageable. At the same time a drawn and photographic record was made of the dome, which lights the main staircase.
