Abstract/Summary

Where was 'Cledemutha' mentioned in the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle? This author believes there is good reason to believe that Edward's fortress was 'at the mouth of Clwd', and, though its exact site is not known, Rhuddlan seems to be the place most attractive in possibilities.
