Abstract/Summary

An archaeological watching brief was carried out by Northamptonshire Archaeology during the re-instalment of the Blatherwycke Boundary Cross. A foundation pit for the new base stone of the cross was excavated, c. 0.40m to the south of the original location of the cross. The pit was cut into the topsoil and no archaeological artefacts or features were uncovered.
