Abstract/Summary

Five trial trenches were excavated on land located within the precinct of the Augustinian Friary. Medieval stone walls, rudimentary floors and other 13-15th c entury features were recorded on the E side of the site. Finds included a moulded architectural stone, window glass and decorated floor tiles. The remians lay beneath upwards of a metre of later deposits.
