Abstract/Summary

An archaeological buildings survey was carried out during the conversion of the Grade II* listed Brockhall Hall into self contained flats. Elements of the building pre 1799 survive within the present structure, although primarily only in main load bearing walls where accompanying original window forms confirm their date. This includes the majority of the windows on the SE elevation which retain their original Jacobean fittings.
