Abstract/Summary

An archaeological evaluation on proposed redevelopment land at Southbridge revealed considerable destruction by 19th century foundations and drains. Three buildings were recorded prior to their redevelopment or demolition; The Granary, a Grade II listed structure, the Transhipment Sheds and the Railway Office building.
