Abstract/Summary

Excavation on part of the former Northampton High School site did not reveal any substantial medieval remains. Archaeological deposits were well preserved only in the south west corner of the site; elsewhere resent disturbance had removed all but deeply cut medieval and later quarry pits and a single wall foundation of post-Medieval date.
