Abstract/Summary
Planning and Listed Building consent has been granted for the conversion of the former vicarage into three apartments and the erection of six apartments in the surrounding grounds. As a result, the vicarage will see continual occupancy dating from the mid 17th century and possibly earlier. A building recording and analysis has been requested prior to any works being completed. The analysis has highlighted the fact the current vicarage was constructed in 1813 with final completion in 1814. The original Georgian decor has been removed and there is little physical evidence to be seen. The analysis of the building has been dependent upon primary evidence, this evidence being the documentary sources.
