Planning and Listed Building Consent has been granted for the conversion of 21 Harborough Road, a former boot and shoe factory and a leather warehouse, Rushton into nine luxury flats. A building recording and analysis had been requested prior to any works being completed, The building constructed in c1900 retains many of the original features both internally and externally. At the time of the survey it was found that little documentary evidence was available or survivied, much of the physical evidence was dependant on the main fabric of the building.
