Abstract/Summary

Excavations were conducted on the site of a proposed processing plant on the Elton Estate from Oct to Dec 2007. Archaeological evidence recovered here alluded to activity taking place onsite from the Neolithic through to the post-medieval. The vast majority of dateable evidence was prehistoric.
