Abstract/Summary
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Northamptonshire Archaeology on behalf of Apex Ltd during groundworks connected with the construction of a new residential development on the site of the former Civic Hall, College Street, Irthlingborough. A truncated natural substratum was revealed within the foundation trenches. No archaeological deposits or artefacts were present.
