Abstract/Summary

The area is currently pasture. There are no nationally designated monuments within the site. There are two monuments lying within the site recorded on the HER. One lists the field names for the area, that for the site being Wedgebury Brook Close; the other indicates the survivial of ridge and furrow earthworks in all three of the fields. Map evidence, along with the ridge and furrow earthworks, suggest that the site has been in agricultural use since at least the post-medieval period.
