SNN106515 - Wellingborough East Geo-Environmental Assessment: Routes 4, 5 and 6

MLM Environmental Ltd (MLM EL) were appointed by Bovis Homes to undertake Geoenvironmental desk based assessments and walkover surveys of three potential northern and western access corridors for the Wellingborough East Development Site. Master planning of the whole development area is moving forward and transport issues are a key element. An Access Strategy for the development will be required to be prepared to support a planning submission and a public enquiry in November 2002. The various geotechnical and contamination issues relevant to the proposed routes, were required to be determined early in the planning and feasibility stages because of their potential engineering and financial implications and these are addressed within this report.
