Abstract/Summary

A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of a trench for electric cabling on land to the east of Harper's Brook. The trench was 240m long, 0.3m wide and 1.1m deep. There was evidence that the land surface had been extensively modified during gravel extraction in the 1960s and 1970s. No archaeological remains were present.
