Abstract/Summary
Topsoil was stripped froman area of approx 1.5 ha using a D10 with box scraper under archaeological supervision. Three small patches of burning were observed but these were not associated with any dating evidence. Otherwise there were no archaeological features cut into the subsoil/natural. The area will now be quarried, backfilled with landfill and then concreted over to form a green waste facility.
