Abstract/Summary

A collection of post-Roman pottery, ceramic building material and iron finds from the line of the Dodford to Borough Hill pipeline was submitted for identification and assessment. The earliest finds potentially consist of collections of daub from two plots, which could be of prehistoric to medieval date. Twenty-seven fragments of medieval pottery and eighteen fragments of medieval or early post medieval ceramic building material were recovered. The remaining finds were of post-medieval and later date.
