Abstract/Summary

Northamptonshire Archaeology was commissioned by CgMs Consulting Ltd to carry out a magnetometer survey on 7ha of land south of Banbury Lane, Northampton. A possible Neolithic henge monument comprising three concentric ditches was found. Further ditches to the south of this feature probably represent a continuation of a previously identified Iron Age site to the west. A post-medieval ditch, modern pipelines and plough marks were also present.
