Abstract/Summary

A building assessment recorded the former Excelsior Band Club at 86 High Street, Wollaston. The building comprises a stone building, formerly a domestic residence fronting onto the High Street which has been substantially extended and altered. The most fundamentlal change to the original building has been the removal of the entire first floor level during the 1980s. The extent of the alterations means that few early or original features now remain.
