Abstract/Summary
Letter from Iain Newton at the Department of Culture, Media and Sport stating that the length of Watling Street from NGR SP568 732 to SP581 712 is of "additonal public interests for historic and archaeological reasons because it is not overlain by the current line of the A5 and thus presents its Roman and Medieval character for easy appreciation."
