Abstract/Summary
Geophysical magnetometry survey was carried out ahead of development. A number of highly magnetic features suggestive of lime kilns were identified. Magnetically disturbed areas were detected, likely to be a by-priduct of the industrial past of the site. Several former quarry pits of various sizes were also located. The site was found to retain the patchwork pattern of medieval field systems.
