Abstract/Summary

Trial trenching was carried out ahead of development. The evaluation revealed a late 1st - early 2nd century Roman boundary ditch, a probable post medieval field boundary ditch and an undated ditch. The ground had been disturbed in recent times, with the laying of a gas pipe across the centre and the raising of ground level to create a terrace in the northern part of the site.
