Abstract/Summary

Yarwell Mill, Northamptonshire dates from 1839 and was built in a single phase on the site of an earlier mill, no traces of which remain. It has undergone substantial structural changes during the twentieth century both inside and out, but most significantly in the interior. It retains no machinery associated with milling and only small sections of flooring, the majority having been removed when converted to use as a grain storage depot c1940.
