Abstract/Summary

This report represents the results of an archaeological evaluation undertaken by CFA Archaeology Ltd in November 2009 at Ringstead Grange, Northamptonshire. The work was commissioned by Volkswind (UK) Ltd. No features or deposits of archaeological significance were identified during the evaluation. The linear anomalies identified in the geophysical survey at the locations of Turbines 3 and 5, and covered by Trenches 3 and 5 respectively, were the probable remnants of stone field drains measuring 0.20m side by 0.10m deep. The possible ridge and furrow cultivation marks were not identified in any of the trenches, either in section or plan.
