Abstract/Summary

Magnetometer survey of approximately 2.5ha of land at Overstone Leys was carried out on behalf of CgMs consulting, following large-scale evaluation exercise to the east. The two northerly fields, A and C, were found to contain nothing of archaeological interest. However, a curving and a linear ditch were located in Field E. In addition, rectilinear anomalies were detected north of the curved ditch, possibly geological features rather than archaeological. A recently removed paddock boundary was also identified in Field E.
