Abstract/Summary

An archaeological evaluation comprising three trial trenches was undertaken in advance of residential development at Watts Close, Cogenhoe, Late Iron Age and Romano-British activity including inhumation burials had previously been identified from archaeological investigations in the area. The evaluation revealed an undated field boundary and probable drainage ditch. No finds were retrieved on the evaluation.
