Abstract/Summary

An area of topsoil was stripped prior to the laying of a hardstanding for parking caravans on land between the lines of a railway embankment and canal adjacent to Whilton Locks Marina, Northants (NGR: SP 618 640). The site lies 0.7km south-east of the Romano-British town of Bannaventa.
