Abstract/Summary

An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Northamptonshire Archaeology on land at Stoke Road, Ashton. Three trenches were excavated within the footprint of the proposed structures. An area comprising extensive, intercutting Romano-British pits was recorded in the northern par of the site as well as a recently filled-in pond.
