Abstract/Summary

Fawsley Dower House is a ruinous historic building. The building is subject to serious ongoing deterioration which threatens the integrity of the remaining fabric. A scheme to ensure the long term preservation of the building involving stabilisation and repair, has been prepared by consultants on behalf of the owners working in partnership with English Heritage, DDC and NCC. The consultant’s schedule of works report details the main phases of work; these are summarised.
