Abstract/Summary

A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approx 5.7ha of recently sown crop. The survey identified two former field boundaries and ridge and furrow cultivation as the only probable archaeology on the site. A single possible pit has also been identified; however it is not possible to determine its origin with any degree of confidence. The remaining anomalies are of geological or modern origin, relating to a former field boundary, scattered magnetic debris, ferrous objects and fencing.
