Abstract/Summary
Northamptonshire Archaeology carried out a buildings recording action at 1-3 Meadow Lane, Little Houghton, Northamptonshire to record three 20th-century outbuildings scheduled for demolition along with two fireplaces. The survey recorded the buildings as they stood in relation to the former butcher’s shop and associated dwelling. The work comprised a Level 2 photographic survey of the outbuildings as they stood in relation to the former butchers shop and dwelling and photographs of the fireplaces following the removal of modern surroundings. No documentary evidence was identified relating to the outbuildings which are of 20th century date, their previous usage being understood from contemporary observations and local knowledge.
