Abstract/Summary
A programme of archaeological observation, investigation and recording was undertaken by MOLA (formerly Northamptonshire Archaeology), on behlaf of S and S Construction between March and June 2013 during groundworks for the construction of two new dwellings on land at Larks Rise, Baker Street, Gayton. A disturbed stratigraphy was recorded along the frontage of the investigation area where a previous dwelling once stood, with undisturbed soils throughout the remainder of the investigation area. No archaeological deposits or artefacts were present.
