Abstract/Summary

An archaeological field evaluation by trial trenching was undertaken on land at Clopton Road, Thurning, Northamptonshire by University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) in advance of proposed construction of grain store. Two trial trenches were excavated in an area defined as having moderate archaeological potential. The trial trenching revealed no evidence of archaeological finds or deposits. The site archive will be held by ULAS under the temporary accession number NHCRT 2014 until a suitable storage space is allocated for its deposition in Northamptonshire.
