Abstract/Summary

A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 11.3 hectares of grassland. The survey has identified evidence of possible occupation activity and former enclosures, as well as a number of backfilled pits of possible archaeological or natural origin. Large areas of complex pit type features possibly represent Iron Age or Roman industrial activity. Medieval ridge and furrow and former field boundaries indicate a more recent agricultural past.
