Abstract/Summary
A strip, map and recording action was undertaken by MOLA Northampton, on behalf of Zielinski Baker and Partners in July 2015 during the construction of a new dwelling on land at The Manor House, 56 High Street, Ecton. An undated pit and two pits of modern date were recorded, and remnant soil horizons contained some post-medieval pottery and clay tobacco-pipes. No earlier archaeological features or artefacts were present.
