Abstract/Summary

In July and August 2015 an archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out by MOLA Northampton, for Phoenix Consulting on behalf of GRS Roadstone. The works identified an Iron Age pit and furrows of medieval to post-medieval ridge and furrow cultivation. The edge of a palaeochannel was also identified which correlated with an anomaly identified by the geophysical survey.
