Abstract/Summary

An archaeological field evaluation was undertaken in March 2016 by University of Leicester Archaeological Services on behalf of Stuart Howes and Son on land at Eckland Lodge Farm, Desborough Road, Braybrooke, Northamptonshire. The fieldwork was undertaken following the granting of planning permission for the construction of a solar park with associated infrastructure. The archaeological field evaluation revealed limited evidence for medieval cultivation practice in in the form of several plough furrows in addition to a single undated pit or post-hole. The site archive will be deposited with Northamptonshire County Council under the accession number ENN 108278.
