Abstract/Summary

This report outlines the details of an archaeological observation, investigation and recording project undertaken by Bournemouth Archaeology during the development of a solar farm by Anesco Ltd on land at Culworth Grounds Farm, Thorpe Mandeville, Northamptonshire. Groundworks for the installation of cables and the construction of sub-stations were monitored. During the groundworks six features – four ditches and two possible pits were recorded and although no finds were recovered it is likely these are associated with a Bronze Age (2400-700BC) settlement identified during the evaluation stage of the project. This report comprises the final report for the project.
