Abstract/Summary

In May 2017, Cotswold Archaeology carried out an archaeological evaluation of Land at Manor Farm, Passenham, Northamptonshire. The evaluation was undertaken to inform a forthcoming planning application for the relocation of a farmyard building at the site. The fieldwork comprised the excavation of nine trial trenches. No features or deposits of archaeological interest were observed during the evaluation with the exception of three plough furrows within Trenches 4 and 5. A small amount of postmedieval pottery and undated iron nails were recovered from the plough furrow within Trench 5.
