Abstract/Summary
2016, archaeological monitoring was undertaken during topsoil stripping and the excavation of footing trenches for a new house adjacent to 3 The Paddocks, Bugbrooke. The site is within the historic core of the village and had the potential to contain buried heritage assets of medieval or later date. The observations did not reveal any buried heritage assets or artefacts. It is therefore unlikely that significant buried heritage assets are present on the site, or that the development has had any impact on buried heritage assets.
