Abstract/Summary

MOLA was commissioned to undertake a magnetometer survey of c9ha of land north-east of Silverstone Fields Farm. The survey mapped part of an Iron Age enclosure which was already known through archaeological works conducted prior to the construction of the A43 Silverstone bypass. It also mapped part of a second enclosure, part of a trackway, some possible kilns or furnaces, extensive traces of medieval ridge and furrow and several post-medieval quarry pits.
