Abstract/Summary

MOLA carried out a trial trench evaluation on land at Hargrave, Northamptonshire in advance of the placement of power line poles. Five trenches were excavated, with only one containing archaeological remains, a 13th-century ditch with two re-cuts containing two articulated mammals. The remains lay close to and perpendicular to Brook Street, which leads north from Hargrave to Bottom Farm.
