Abstract/Summary
MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) was commissioned by The Environment Partnership on behalf of Kettering Community Architects to carry out an archaeological trial trench evaluation of land at 11 Desborough Road, Rothwell, Northamptonshire. Four trenches were excavated with three archaeological features being identified; an undated ditch, a destroyed well/stone dump dating to the 12th to 14th century, and a rubble filled gully which could have been part of a foundation, likely dating to the same period.
