Abstract/Summary
TEP on behalf of Arquiva undertook Archaeological Supervision and Recording during the excavation of gantry post pits and an extension to a concrete pad at Borough Hill, Daventry, Northamptonshire. Borough Hill is the site of an Iron Age hillfort and Roman activity and is a Scheduled Monument. The works demonstrated that the groundworks were excavated into previously disturbed and made up ground and no archaeological features were present and artefacts were recovered.
