Abstract/Summary
The stables at The Old Bakehouse, Maidwell are probably late 19th-century in date and as stables were probably short-lived. One travis remains, but little else, except for scars and hints at former fittings. The building was constructed off an existing boundary wall to the plot and was once part of a longer range, cut down by 1900.
