Abstract/Summary

MOLA Northampton carried out a trial trench evaluation on land at Rothersthorpe Road, Kislingbury. Eight trenches were excavated of which all contained archaeological features comprising 24 ditches. A moderate pottery assemblage was recovered which allowed more than half of the ditches to be dated to the late Iron Age. Those ditches which are undated are likely to be of a similar period. A post-medieval boundary was identified as were traces of ridge and furrow.
