Abstract/Summary

Between November 8th and December 3rd 2018 Independent Archaeology Consultants undertook a programme of archaeological monitoring on land at Job’s Yard, Kettering, Northamptonshire (NGR: 486733 278744). A number of foundation trenches for the purpose of constructing a residential and retail building were opened up across the site. These trenches uncovered truncated remnants of 19th/20th century tenement houses. Remains uncovered included a series of cellars, ironstone walls and a brick herringbone floor.
