Abstract/Summary
A fluxgate gradiometer survey of land off Braybrooke Road, Desborough in Northamptonshire has identified only limited evidence of potential archaeological remains, most notably a well defined circular ditch in the south-east part of the site. A small number of other anomalies have been tentatively interpreted as indicators of buried remains, in the form of an isolated ditch-type feature in the mid-part of the site and a possible group of pits adjacent to the northern boundary. The survey also registered traces of ridge and furrow cultivation, a recently removed boundary, a backfilled pond and a buried service.
