Abstract/Summary

Watching brief undertaken during the excavation of a trench for the laying of a water-main along part of Desborough Road. Monitoring was undertaken along a 300m stretch adjacent to the Scheduled Monument. The remains of an undated limestone cobbled surface were exposed beneath the road makeup were observed.
