Abstract/Summary

In October 2014 Network Archaeology Ltd undertook an archaeological evaluation at land to the rear of Balding Close, Barby, Northamptonshire (centred at NGR 454322 270045). Five trenches were excavated and a small number of early modern features, including ditches, pits and drains were located and investigated. These were concluded to be mostly agricultural in origin. Recovered finds spanned the 17th to early 20th centuries. The discovered remains are considered to be of no greater than local importance
