Abstract/Summary

Allen Archaeology Ltd was commissioned by Prospect Archaeology, on behalf of Lindum BMS, to undertake a programme of archaeological evaluation by trial trenching on land off Dovecote Close, Yarwell, Northamptonshire to fulfil a condition of consent for a residential development. The evaluation comprised the excavation of five, 20m long trenches across the proposed development area. No deposits of archaeological significance were encountered. A single modern boundary was encountered in Trench 4. The trenching has shown that the development will have no impact upon archaeological remains.
